'We Cannot Speak Highly Enough'
In mid-2014, we decided our home and our family would benefit by the addition of a swimming pool. However, after 4 consults with various pool-builders based on the Sunshine Coast, we put the project on the back-burners, as we were not inspired, or convinced, that we would get the pool that we felt our property deserved.
February 2015 – after hearing 2 or my golfing friends discussing their pool-builder, who they highly recommended – I made a ‘phone call to Ken Jordan, of Ken Jordan Pools, and from there we progressed to discussions with Ken, 3-D drawings of his thoughts for our pool to suit our location, signing a Contract and getting on with the build.
We cannot speak highly enough of our dealings with Ken. From the first contact we had with him, he showed his insight into designing a pool which perfectly suited our site, and complemented our property. We were delighted!
During the build, there was never a drama. Nothing was too much trouble for Ken or his contractors, all of whom showed the utmost concern to get everything just right, as well as pride in their work. The pool was delivered within the time specified and we now have an amazing swimming pool that perfectly suits our wonderful home.
However, after the pool was handed over to us, we did have 2 issues that caused concern. The first was a leak below our pool, which was caused by a fence post piercing a pipe, and the second was a faulty chlorinator, which was not making chlorine. Both these problems were addressed and resolved immediately.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Ken to anyone wanting a top class pool. The fact that he is hands-on, and constantly visiting the site, only makes for a much more amicable relationship between the client and the contractor.

'Not only does it look great, but is very easy to maintain'
We had met with three pool builders, and were getting nowhere, before we called Ken after a personal recommendation. From the start, it was obvious that he was different from the others. Ken came to our house, measured the area, found out what we wanted and discussed some of his own suggestions, before presenting 4-5 designs with his fantastic 3D computer simulation software. This made it so easy to see what worked (and what didn’t) within the space available, not only with respect to the pool design but also the subsequent landscaping.
Ken’s experience and flair for design are obvious in the final result, and we are thrilled (as are the kids). Not only does it look great, but is very easy to maintain. Ken was also happy to listen to specific requests that we had, and sourced the requested items with no fuss. His staff were readily available, and were fantastic at trouble-shooting the inevitable minor problems that arose. He managed the whole project and deals with great contractors, meaning the fencing and tiling etc were done beautifully with no stress to us.

'6 Reasons we chose Ken Jordan Swimming Pools'
Hi Ken,
I have attached some photos of the pool since you last saw it.
We just have the garden work to finish off and it will be all done.
Deciding to install a pool was not a “snap decision” for us as we took the time to investigate the pool people on the Sunshine Coast and asked for quotes from four different companies.
Why did we go with Ken Jordan?
1) Firstly we wanted one person to manage the complete pool project from the council permit, Excavation, pool construction, engineering, certification, decking and fencing.
2) We liked the professional and personal manner of our initial contact and the discussions and suggestions that were presented.
3) The quotation was complete in detail including computer generated pictures of the finished pool with a breakdown of costs for the various stages.
4) The construction of the pool was completed within our requested delay which included at our request of no work being done while we were on our planned six week European holiday.
5) We were kept constantly up to date with all the details during construction and consulted when required.
6) We found all the team that we met that worked on site to be very polite, helpful and professional.
We are very happy with the final result and want to thank you for all the good work that you and your team have done to achieve our beautiful pool.
We have received a letter from the Sunshine Coast Council regarding Pool Safety Standard Compliance and from the information we need to have a certificate.
A pool inspector that we know said that we should receive this from you and said something about form/certificate no. 17. Is that correct?
